The schools in the Nānākuli Complex participated in the DOE's CCDC/Access Learning Pilot program in SY 2013-2014. As part of the pilot, each school received a MacBook Air for every student, which were deployed during the second semester.
The schools in the Wai'anae Complex received an ELT grant to purchase iPad minis for every student. These will be deployed during the 2014-2015 school year.
During the 2015-2016 school year, our Complex Area will be sponsoring training and support for Technology Integration Pillars (TIPs). This group will consist of teachers and possibly coaches who are willing to integrate technology into their classrooms and schools. TIPs will be part of a PLC where they share successes and challenges in their integration of technology. They will also be willing to open up their classrooms so others can see how technology is being used to enhance teaching and learning.
